Joan Borràs is ICT & Tourism Project Manager at the Science and Technology Park for Tourism and Leisure of Catalonia and associate professor of the Faculty of Tourism and Geography from the University Rovira i Virgili. He is an external collaborator of the GRATET Research Group (Territorial Analysis and Tourism Studies). He received the PhD in computer science from the University Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona (Spain) in 2015.
His research interests include recommender systems, machine learning, data analysis, and technologies applied to Tourism domain. His research has been published in several Computer Science journals. He has participated in several Spanish and EU research projects with applications in Tourism.
